With more than a decade of experience spanning some of India’s most prestigious kitchens, Executive Chef Sarabjit Singh Assi brings deep-rooted culinary expertise and a global perspective to Sanjh. Guided by his Punjabi heritage and influenced by mentors like celebrated chef Manish Mehrotra, Chef Assi’s approach marries tradition with modern artistry—creating thoughtful, soulful dishes that honor the spirit of Indian cuisine while pushing its boundaries.

 

Chef Assi’s career has taken him through top culinary destinations, including leadership roles at Daryaganj in New Delhi, Andaz Delhi by Hyatt, and ITC Sheraton, where he refined his mastery of Indian flavors and technique-driven cooking. His reputation is built on precision, creativity, and a deep respect for heritage, as well as his ability to lead high-performing kitchen teams through complex, dynamic environments.

 

Supported by a talented team that includes expert tandoor chefs, an in-house halwai, and a pastry chef, Chef Assi continues to push Sanjh’s culinary vision forward. Together, they bring guests on a journey through India’s rich culinary landscape—crafted with intention, served with warmth, and designed to make every guest feel like royalty.

Notes

Dress Code

Guests are requested to dress in business casual or smart casual attire. Athletic wear, gym attire, hats, shorts, tank tops, sleeveless shirts, and open-toed footwear for men are not permitted in the main dining room. Management reserves the right to determine appropriate attire. Patio seating is available for guests seeking a more relaxed setting, subject to availability.

Children Policy

To preserve a refined dining atmosphere, children under 10 are not permitted in the main dining room Monday through Thursday. Families with young children are warmly welcomed on weekends and on the patio any day of the week.

Arrival & Seating

A 15-minute grace period is offered for all reservations; arriving after this without prior notice will forfeit your reservation. A $10 per-person no-show fee will be charged to the card on file, and cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance incur no charge.
